Dr. Henrique Momm
Welcome

I am a professor in the Department of Geosciences at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, U.S.A. My research interests focus on integrating Geographic Information Science with Computational Sciences to improve basic understanding of Earth functions. I have contributed to research on watershed systems modeling and characterization, studies of channel morphology and evolution through laboratory and field experiments, and advanced information extraction from remotely sensed imagery.
I am also a faculty member of the Computational and Data Science, Ph.D. program and I serve as graduate coordinator for the M.S. in Geosciences. Additionally, I am a member of the of the scientific and development team of the U.S. Department of Agriculture-supported Annualized AGricultural Non-Point Source (AnnAGNPS) watershed pollutant loading model and the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation, Version 2 (RUSLE2) soil erosion model.
I teach a variety of courses in data analysis, remote sensing, watershed modeling, and spatial analysis.
