I earned my Ph.D. degree from Boston University, Master&#8217;s and Bachelor&#8217;s degrees from Northeastern University of China, in 2006, 2001, and 1998, respectively. From 2006 to 2009, I was with Nortel Networks in Billerica, MA. From 2009 to 2011, I was with the University of Cincinnati. From 2011 to 2014, I was with NuVo Technologies\/Legrand North America. From 2014 to 2015, I was with the State University of New York Farmingdale. I joined MTSU in fall 2015 as an assistant professor and was promoted to Associate Professor and Professor in 2020 and 2024, respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prospective Graduate Students<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">I am a graduate faculty member of the M.S. program of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/program\/mechatronics-systems-engineering-m-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mechatronics Systems Engineering<\/a>\u00a0and the Ph.D. program of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/programs\/computational-science-phd\/\" target=\"_blank\">Computational and Data Science<\/a>\u00a0at MTSU.<\/span> If you&#8217;d like to pursue graduate studies at MTSU, please apply to our programs before the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduate and undergraduate research assistant positions are available.
